Since 2003, KWPB volunteers have been hosting an annual citywide community cleanup, and each year we are very thankful for the hundreds of community residents, businesses, and visitors alike who turn out to help pick up litter and celebrate our beautiful city.
Join us for the 20th Annual Woodland Park City Wide Cleanup! This event will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on August 27, 2022 at Memorial Park. Registration starts at 8:3.am. Participation is free and community members of all ages are welcome.
Cleaning supplies will be provided, but you may bring your own gloves or trash pickers if you have them. Volunteers will sign-in, be assigned a spot to cleanup, and set off to work in their assigned areas. Groups will travel by foot and/or car to various locations through Woodland Park departing from the meet up location. When clean-up is complete, volunteers are invited back to the pavilion for a free barbecue lunch, including music and games for kids.
The Annual Citywide cleanup has been an important service opportunity for local groups and non-profit organizations including Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, nearby churches and Woodland Park Middle and High School sports teams, giving people of all ages the opportunity to give back to the community. Local businesses will also have an opportunity to sponsor the event.
The KWPB Annual Citywide Cleanup Celebration is a great way to take pride in our town. If you would like to learn when the next cleanup is taking place, please visit & like our Facebook page, or bookmark our website blog.
