The Keep Woodland Park Beautiful Committee will be forming a cleanup crew for Creek Week. This event is primarily focused on cleaning up the Fountain Creek area that runs through Woodland Park. Learn more about the Fountain Creek Watershed District.
The event is scheduled for Saturday October 2nd at 8:30am – all volunteers should plan to meet at 8:30am by the picnic tables on S Center St. (near Woodland Hardware).
Due to a forecast of cold conditions and inclement weather, the KWPB Community Cleanup and BBQ originally scheduled for May 19 has been RESCHEDULED for Saturday, June 9. We really hope we see you there.
Please join Keep Woodland Park Beautiful in partnership with Focus on the Forest for our 16 Annual citywide Spring Cleanup Celebration on Saturday, June 9 at the Ute Pass Cultural Center Pavilion Green. Check-in begins at 9AM after which we will set out as groups to pick up litter in our community for a few hours before returning to the Pavilion Green for a free BBQ for all participants!
We had a dry and windy Winter, so there is a LOT of litter out there to pick up & we need all the help we can get! Will this be the year we reach 300 participants?! It can be if you share this with your friends, families, schools and groups. All ages welcome.
